Practising breathwork can decrease levels of stress by completing your stress cycle and cancel out your fight-or-flight response in stressful situations. Joining live breathing sessions help with emotions like anxiety, as you will ground yourself in the present moment while feeling the connections to others.
There has been quite a handful of studies determining how breathwork can affect the body’s stress response. This study shows how pranayama (breathwork) can be an effective coping strategy in stressful situations. And another study found how diaphragmatic breathing supported participants with anxiety to reduce their anxiety scores after practising the technique daily.
For less than £0.60 per session, you have the opportunity to learn about the advantages of breathwork and practise with a community of loving, supporting and caring individuals, just like you.
